The Houses

We have three attached houses available for rent , which can be booked separately or in any combination for parties of up to 12 / 13.

The largest Casa Algarrobo has three upstairs bedrooms, two doubles and one twin room. This spacious house retains many of its original beams and charming features. Ample space both inside and out to enjoy time together or relax alone. Sleeps 6 / 7

Casita Algarrobo

Casita Buho Real has one upstairs double bedroom and a futon downstairs and is very popular with our guests who choose to barbecue or sample the local restaurants for their main meals. This casita has its own separate entrance, however the connecting door gives easy access to Casa Algarrobo for the larger party. Sleeps 2 + 2

Casita Gorrion has one ground floor double bedroom, a spacious living area/kitchen, a bathroom and a large private terrace. Boasting natural stones, beamed ceilings, rustic rendering, and the original open fireplace, all make this casita very special.

We have a tremendous 15m x 5m swimming pool, fantastic views , shaded and sunny outside areas.

All windows have mosquito netting. Fresh linen and towels are provided weekly.(Beach towels are not provided but can be hired.) All houses are cleaned to a high standard before each arrival. There is no maid service during your stay. There is an automatic washing machine and iron for the guests to use. We provide a Welcome pack on arrival. No wheelchair access.

Artists and photographers paradise, Spectacular scenery, colourful flowers, butterflies and birds abound. In the summer we have many Bee-Eaters with their fantastic colours also Blue Rock Thrush, Golden Orioles; however we have resident Eagle Owls often seen from the comfort of the poolside loungers.

The Lake Vinuela is spectacular and the village of Vinuela (15 mins away) has a small supermarket, a bank and a chemist. Open 10 – 2 and 5- 8. Major supermarket and indoor shopping complex, bowling, aqua park and cinema are 30 mins away. Sample a local fiesta; a taste of real Spain.

Axarquia’s climate is sub tropical and enjoys, on average, 300 sunny days a year and even in the cooler winter months there are often clear blue skies. We have the most amazing sunrise and sunsets.
